Congratulations to all my countrymen on Republic Day.

This is our national festival.

January 26 is celebrated as Republic Day in our country of India. On January 1, 1959 constitution of our country came into force on this day. The Indian Constitution is the largest written constitution in the world. It took 2 years 11 months and 14 days to make the Indian Constitution.

There are 12 Schedules and 195 Articles in our Constitution. In this, all the laws and rights of the citizens have been explained. Therefore, January 26 is also known as National Constitution Day and Law Day. The constitution is the basis of Indian law.

There have been many great collaborations to keep the Constitution, including Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad and Jawaharlal Nehru etc.All of them were elected by the Constituent Assembly to form the Constitution.

On Republic Day, a grand event is organized at the Red Fort, in which the flag is first roasted by the Prime Minister.Apart from this, prominent leaders of the central government were also present. Major leaders like President, Home Minister, Vice President, Defense Minister etc. In addition to them, the chiefs and [administration officers] of the three services are also present.Along with the parade, exhibitions of various states are also shown, which shows their culture and civilization. It is a matter of pride for our country.

Republic Day is a holiday for all government and non-government departments such as banks, power houses, offices and others.On this day, the flag is roasted in all government departments and sweets are distributed.

On Republic Day, special types of events are also held in the army premises in which they parade and show their enthusiasm towards patriotism.

This day is especially organized in schools. Cultural programs are organized in schools like dances, patriotic songs, patriotic speeches etc. Everything is done after flag hoisting.

On Republic Day, everyone wears tricolor clothes such as saffron, white or green. This increases our enthusiasm even more. People celebrate this day with enthusiasm.
