It is celebrated in Vaishakh month Shukla paksha tritiya, according to Hindi months it means this festival is celebrated in the first fifteen days’ third tithi in spring season. We also had known Akshay tritiya as Akti. This is the festival of Hindu’s and Jains all over India and Nepal which is celebrated with joy, happiness and enjoyment. Akshay tritiya is spreads lots of love prosperity and happiness around us between Peoples. Akshay tritiya is the festival of only one day which is celebrated on third face of moon. We can understand from the Sanskrit word of AKSHAY as ‘never ending ness’ and TRITIYA means ‘third face of the moon.”
