Ramadan (Roza)
Ramadan which is the holiest or ninth month in the Islamic calendar. Healthy adult Muslim people fast in Ramadan from sunrise until sunset. Muslim people keep roza in Ramadan; they’re having suhoor before sunrise and staying it until just before sunset time. They also hurry to break the fast at sunset. They also break the fast by eating dry dates, if it is not available. Then they’re having a drink of water would be sufficient. Islamic Ramadan is a 28 for 30 days fast in which food and drink are prohibited during the daylight hours. Ramadan fast is healthy for Muslims because some of the more favorable effects of these fasts include the lowering body mass, total cholesterol is managed or balanced. Ramadan is the time of spiritual reflection; self-improvement, intensified devotion and worship towards Allah Muslims do worship in Ramadan such as prayer, reading the Quran and charity also during the holy month. During Ramadan, Muslims are not allowed to eat any food, drink any liquids, smoke cigarettes and engage in any sexual activity from dawn to sunset or month of Ramadan. Those who have medical problems should take advice from their doctor before fasting. This fast symbolizes the devotion of these people towards the supreme powers. From the time period of this month Muslims let go of their words to get pleasure and observe the fast along with their friends and family.
